Okwu Dili is a track from Paulson Kalu hit album titled “Poor Man Life” released in 2010. In this track, Paulson Kalu in his usual philosophical style, rhetorically narrates the issue of oppression of the poor by the rich class in our contemploral society.
Paulson Kalu is a veteran Nigerian musical artist who specialize in the genre of highlife music. He sings his songs mostly in his Igbo language with his philosophical touches in all his music. He was born in Akanu Ohafia in Abia State Nigeria, in 1940.
Paulson kalu had his tutelage under his master Stephen Osita Osadebe of blessed memory. He served and worked under high life music legend, Chief Osadebe alongside Ali Chukwuma, Ozoemena Nwa Nzugbe and Gentleman Mike Ejiegha. His hit tracks include Okwudili, Ama Ndi Anaeze, Onyeka Chim, Uwa Zuruonye and Ji Ehele. He was one time chairman of Abia state chapter of Performing Musician Association of Nigeria (PEMAN). He is currently traditional chief of Akanu Ohafia and Evangelist. He had announced in the earlier years of his “call to the vineyard” and recently turned a born-again christian, serving as a Pastor.
He is married with children who are doing so well in their enterprise.
